In the name of the father the son and the holy spirit Amen
HAH! I got the Amen part right jk thank you for translating
i am now roman catholic :-).
the easter vigil mass (at which i was baptized) was 8 p.m. yesterday, and we had a meeting at the church yesterday morning.
so i went home for the afternoon to get ready for the evening.. so who else would show up at our door (during the three hours or so i was home all day) but two jw elders.

<<<laughing at Simon's use of the words "The Truth">>>
it's odd to go so far back and see the turns this board has taken.

I like that place. It has So much information and seems pretty active. I haven't been there in a while, and am pretty sure I'm registered.
Thanks for posting it, it really has a wealth of info.

hello,.
rather than each person starting a thread and cluttering the board, perhaps we can keep this thread for posters email addresses that we may want to stay in contact with.. mine is: hillary_step@hotmail.com.
cheers - hs.
i hope that after this board shuts down that many of you that i have met in person, talked to on the phone, emailed, pmd, chatted with on im...will still want to stay in touch.
it has been difficult keeping screen names and email addresses, phone numbers etc.
straight.
for me and my addiction to jwd it'll mean i've more time to go and get a life!.
more time for .
1. the podlets.
ok, i'll start, maybe if we can all tell simon our reason why this site means so much to us he will reconsider and leave it here.
this site has given me the courage to speak out.
i used to be ashamed of my history with the witnesses.
I understand Why you need a break, why it's time to go.
If you were to give any weight to what we are thinking....
The good this place does far outweighs the moronic asses who get off on posting porn and slimey crap.
I know how many exjw sites have come and gone in the last couple of years. When this place goes, I think many JW's will feel like it's a "sign" they are winning and those who are questioning and need the same support I needed may not have a place to go that will be as active as this place.
One of the things I have absolutely loved about this place is it's constant activity. If you need something, someone is there.
This is honestly like "Cheers". A place to go to be with people who 'get it'.
BUT like I said, I understand why you and Angharad feel strongly it's time to go.
